For my MFA capstone project, I designed and realized a Viking Age Snow Queen. My process began with in‑depth historical research into the Viking Age, complemented by an exploration of snow goddesses and winter deities from across the northern regions. By blending cultural evidence and references, and imaginative world‑building, I developed a character design that captures the spirit of the viking age while embracing the magic and mythology of a fantastical figure.
